Old Hawaii, A Heritage

Cut from the cloth of Old Hawaii

Inspired by her family’s rich heritage in the Hawaiian Islands, our founder creates prints reminiscent of the grandeur of old Hawaii. Seventh generation in the islands, she grew up on the slopes of Mauna Kea, Kohala, and Hualalai, watching her family perpetuate their connection to the land from Mauka (the mountains) to Makai (the ocean) as stewards of the island’s flora & fauna.

Listening to stories of the “good old days” playing polo with princes in Kapiolani Park and establishing sport fishing records around the world. These stories have transcended generations and her family’s connection to the land has withstood the test of time. It is the founder’s goal that the romance of Old Hawaii is perpetuated in Elle Mer.
